Like most Viola plants, the pretty flowers of Pansy 'Tasty Mixed' are perfectly edible. These hardy summer pansies have been specially selected for their flavoursome blooms which have a mild, sweet and peppery taste. Perfect for delicious decorations for cakes and puddings, as well as salads and savoury tarts. Use them to dress up cheese plates or freeze them into ice cubes and add to your favourite drinks. Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. The crystallised petals are great decorations for cakes and cookies, or they can be added straight to green salads for an injection of colour.
