This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders placed through the Cornwall Garden Shop website are processed and delivered throughout mainland UK.

For information regarding deliveries made by our own vehicles within Cornwall, including delivery areas, schedules and eligibility, please refer to our Local Cornwall Delivery Policy.

 

2. Delivery Areas

2.1 We currently deliver to mainland UK addresses only.

2.2 We do not offer international delivery.

2.3 Some products available on our website may only be available for local delivery or collection due to their size, weight or handling requirements.

3. Local Cornwall Delivery

3.1 Cornwall Garden Shop offers a local delivery service using our own vehicles for eligible addresses within mainland Cornwall.

3.2 A flat delivery charge of £10.00 applies to qualifying local deliveries.

3.3 Local deliveries operate on designated delivery days and within selected delivery areas.

4. Nationwide Delivery

4.1 Standard nationwide delivery is available for parcels up to 1.2 metres in length and 30kg in weight.

4.2 Delivery charges are calculated according to the size and weight of your order.

4.3 Standard parcels are charged at £4.95.

4.4 Small items, including gift vouchers and flower seeds, are charged at £2.95.

4.5 All applicable delivery charges will be displayed during checkout before your order is confirmed.

5. Supplier Direct Deliveries

5.1 Selected products are delivered directly by our trusted suppliers.

5.2 These deliveries are provided free of charge unless otherwise stated.

5.3 Supplier direct orders are normally dispatched within 5 working days. Delivery times may vary depending on the supplier and courier.

6. Dispatch Times

6.1 Orders are normally dispatched within 3 working days.

6.2 During busy periods, seasonal events or public holidays, dispatch times may be slightly longer.

7. Large or Heavy Deliveries

7.1 Larger or heavier items may only be delivered to the kerbside or as close to your property as is safely accessible.

7.2 The final delivery location remains at the driver's discretion, taking into account access, safety and site conditions.

8. Delivery Restrictions

8.1 Some products sold by Cornwall Garden Shop are unsuitable for courier delivery due to their size, weight, dimensions, fragility or other logistical considerations.

8.2 Cornwall Garden Shop reserves the right to decline or cancel an order where a product cannot be delivered safely or economically.

8.3 If this occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible and provide a full refund where appropriate.

8.4 We do not currently offer delivery of live plants through our online store.

9. Stock Availability

9.1 Whilst every effort is made to maintain accurate stock levels, occasionally an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed.

9.2 If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you promptly and arrange a full refund.

10. Delivery Problems

10.1 If your order arrives damaged or there is an issue with your delivery, please contact us as soon as possible by telephone or email.

10.2 To help us resolve your enquiry quickly, please include:

• Photographs of the affected item(s)

• A brief description of the issue

10.3 We will investigate the matter and work with you to reach an appropriate resolution.
