The loose heads of Lettuce ‘Skilton’ are formed of softly textured leaves which can be picked individually as and when required or simply harvest the whole head if making a large salad. Simple to grow and producing a rewarding harvest, sow successively directly outdoors throughout spring and into early summer and enjoy your fresh crop from summer until the first frosts. A lovely, crisp texture makes this a great choice for adding a bit of extra bite to a sandwich as well as within salads or as an attractive garnish.
