Growing to around 60cm (24") in height, Dwarf Bean ‘Calendonia’ is compact in size and rewardingly high yielding, making it the ideal solution for growing in a confined space or patio container, either growing up a small wigwam or obelisk. New breeding has resulted in extended harvesting period and improved resilience. Not only incredibly productive, but the attractive cream-coloured flowers give this plant ornamental value too. Podding mainly towards the top of the plant makes for easy pickings, sow at intervals throughout spring and you can enjoy a tasty and nutritious crop of freshly-picked beans all the way through to autumn.
