Description
A popular, high yielding maincrop variety with large, long, tapering roots which has stood the test of time and is an allotment favourite for its reliability, excellent flavour and rich colour.
It stores well for later winter use.
For continuous crops sow every 2-3 week and when harvesting, select alternate young carrots from the row, allowing the remainder to develop fully.
Keep well watered to prevent the roots splitting.
