Following government guidelines, from Wednesday 13th May we will re-open with our normal opening hours at both Chacewater and Goonhavern Garden Centres.
We have introduced many safety measures to keep staff and customers safe whilst shopping. Surfaces and Point of Sale contacts will be wiped down and disinfected every 30 minutes. Our staff are also provided with PPE such as visors and gloves.
Social Distancing Rules: We have a maximum capacity of 20 at Chacewater GC and 17 customers at Goonhavern GC inside at any one time. Once customer levels reach these numbers we will carry out a 'one in, one out' procedure. Please be patient as there may be a queue. There are one way systems in place at both garden centres and they both have separate entrance and exit doors to ensure distancing of 2 metres. We encourage customers to pay by contactless or card payment but we do accept cash and gift vouchers. Once you have reached the till point, please stand back behind the line to allow our till operators to scan and process your transaction. You will then be called forward to pay. We have a system outside for dirty and clean trollies and baskets.
The webshop checkout will continue to open on weekends and trade for customers unable to visit our garden centres or for those in self-isolation. We have now introduced a £10 delivery charge, FREE delivery when you spend over £100. A minimum spend of £20 will remain. Local delivery is also free if you live in Chacewater or Goonhavern. Orders placed over the weekend will be delivered the following week between Monday to Friday.
